IT Business Analyst

This is because we focus on providing document management and workflow solutions using Canon’s Therefore document management system and our in-house developed product, Scan2x, which is globally sold under the Canon solutions portfolio.
In addition, we also specialise in Intelligent Trust Services that involve electronic signatures, proof of correspondence, business intelligence tools, and multichannel document generation.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Analyst at Avantech.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
They will also be required to develop basic proof of concept prototypes and wireframe designs with our core solutions to ensure that clients have the best understanding of the solutions being designed. The role is primarily based in San Gwann, but some remote work is acceptable.
Qualifications
• Analytical Skills, Business Analysis, and Business Process skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
• Knowledge of the financial services sector, including banking, insurance, wealth management, and FX
• Experience with document management and workflow solutions
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, or related field.
• A minimum 2 year working experience with SQL server, database and queries is a must.
• A mimimum 2 year working experience with jscript is also a requirement.
• Must be fluent in Maltese and English and posses a clean driving licence.
